I took the liberty of linking your blog to RMweb. Given its large userbase there's probably a few people in the right places to pick up on this. Thanks for revisiting!

Also thanks to Ted, for posting a note on the 009 Society Dutch Group website, that made me aware of this very sorry state of affairs.

Hello Holger

The new pictures do not make happy viewing. Do you happen to know who is responsible for the steam railway? I hear the windmill and the Jeanie Johnston shipyard have a new owner and they have acquired the railway as well, but I cannot find for certain who they are. What is the role of Tralee Tourism in this? I think they should be made aware of the historic importance of the locomotive and of the concerns that are growing over its fate. Perhaps a letter to one or two leading railway enthusiasts magazines would make a good starting point. I will in any case add a few comments to my website at www.narrowgauge.nl, with a link to your pages. I think it is time something should be done.

best wishes, Ted
