Town Development Exhibition

Tralee Development ExhibitionToday I found the time to visit the small but interesting Tralee-development-exhibition which is currently underway in the Kerry County Library in Tralee.

Besides the orginal and almost 400 years old town charter document from 1612 there is an interesting video documentation about the history of the town on display, as well as some maps and posters regarding planned development steps for the years to come. The purpose of this exhibition is to encourage the people of Tralee to actively participate in the development of the town and to make their proposals and ideas heard before the new town development plan is being finalised. 

So you will also find a box in which to put your personal proposals and wishes for the future of the town. The exhibition will be open until christmas, although the final deadline to make your views known will be wednesday, december 19th. Your participation is appreciated!
