Town Park makeover
The redevelopment of Tralee Town Park is well under way this autumn, and just a few days ago the new playground area has finally been opened. But because many kids didn’t want to wait for the official opening one could watch happy children busy playing with the shiny new swings, climbing frames and all the other big toys over the past weekends. The kids seem to enjoy their new playground and so do the parents.
But there is more to come in the Green. Passing through the rose garden the visitor will easily notice that the two old walled fountains have gone. They had not been used for long, but now a new fountain and new seating seems to be planned. Hopefull all will be up and running in the spring time. Maybe it’s a good opportunity to thank the gardeners and the council workers for their effort in constantly keeping the Town Park a place to enjoy. Thank you guys, I like your big garden ;)
