This was the last sentence of my blog post in October 2007. Now, with 2009 almost over, we all know a lot more and we especially learned a thing or two about the irish property market. So I answer that cited question today with an extract from this weeks Kerryman (http://www.kerryman.ie/news/lee-strand-wipes-euro15m-off-property-portfolio-1968385.html).
They write:
"The most significant exposure, cited specifically in the auditors report, is the coop's Centrepoint building on Tralee's John Joe Sheehy Road. Centrepoint was completed in 2007 at a cost of €25 million. However, the entire 150,000 square foot complex remains unoccupied almost three years on."

So finally it was not such a good investment after all.</description>
