Farewell old house

Demolished old cinema in TraleeLess than three months after the opening of the new eight screen omniplex next to the Aqua Dome the picture to the right shows what once was the old four screen cinema, which had been situated between Siamsa Tire and The Square opposite the huge (but still mainly empty) Galeria building. As you can see there is nothing left but a pile of debris. [»]

Another shopping centre…

Penneys Superstore Tralee…is growing in the centre of the town. The new Penneys Superstore (Castle Street) which was announced for opening in spring 2008 is now set to start trading as early as december. The scale of the completely new building will be somewhat greater than the size of the shop front might suggest. [»]

Tide Table

Tralee Bay at low tideWhen browsing the log files for tralee.org today I saw that a common search term is “Tralee Tides”. Unfortunately there is no information about the tides on the page. So if you are interested in todays tide situation here is a link that might help you. Detailed tide tables covering a time frame of a month or so are for sale in bookstores and many other places in Ireland. So if you need one to plan your angling trip you will easily find it once you are here.

Tralee Centrepoint
